Asif Sewani
Dr. Asif Sewani is the Director of Electrophysiology at SARC Multi-Specialty Group, where he specializes in diagnosing and treating complex heart rhythm disorders. He provides advanced electrophysiologic care, focusing on conditions such as atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia, premature ventricular contractions, ventricular tachycardia, fainting (syncope), and other arrhythmias. His procedural expertise includes catheter ablation and the implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators.
Dr. Sewani earned his medical degree from Aga Khan University Medical Center. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the Indiana University School of Medicine and Affiliated Hospital, followed by a cardiovascular disease fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch Hospitals and a cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital.
He is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology and brings over two decades of experience in the evaluation and treatment of arrhythmias. Dr. Sewani’s clinical approach emphasizes the use of evidence-based, minimally invasive techniques to help patients achieve better heart rhythm control and improved quality of life.
