Vein Disease

Vein Disease, also known as venous insufficiency, happens when valves in the veins are not functioning properly and cause swelling, pain or skin changes in the legs. The diseased veins prevent the blood from flowing properly and cause pooling of the blood. The initial result is swelling, pain or heaviness in the legs, but without treatment the disease can progress and cause ulcers or wounds.

Our team can perform an ultrasound of your leg to determine if you’re experiencing venous insufficiency. Many times the disease can be treated in the office with a non-invasive procedure but more advanced cases may require a more invasive procedure.

Our team offers the following for Vein Disease:

Non-Invasive (Clinic)

  • Clinical Assessment

  • Ultrasound Vein Mapping
